Native Plant Design
Inspired by nature, we work with you to come up with a plan that’s wildly beautiful. We enrich your landscape by improving soil, managing stormwater and creating perches and nesting places for birds. Birds rely primarily on insects as a food source for their young, and our designs provide habitat for beneficial insects. Our knowledge of northwest native plants allows us to select the plants optimal for the space and diverse conditions found in your yard.
Habitat Garden Coaching
We provide guidance to individuals wanting to learn more about gardening with native plants and sustainable gardening practices. Coaching is individualized based on our clients’ interests and needs. A few examples of topics coaching may cover include how to suppress and manage weeds without use of harmful chemicals; gardening practices to encourage beneficial insects; and designing for year-round interest.
Home Owner Associations
& Community Projects
We can help you develop a proposal for your HOA to amend guidelines to allow and encourage the planting of native plants that are adapted to our climate and conditions. This can reduce the need for pesticides, irrigation and enhance the beauty of your community while helping to create a strong sense of place.
We can also assist you with seeking resources and partners to help take on native plant projects in your neighborhood to improve stormwater management, beautify the environment and create a healthy habitat for wildlife.
